Dr. Susmita Sett - Research Associate (2023-2025)
(worked with me and Kristen Dage)Susmita's work was focused on exploration of accreting compact objects in large surveys such as Vera Rubin Observatory's LSST. She has previously worked on large radio surveys of pulsars. She is now a Telescope Operator and Data Analyst at SKAO.
Tyrone O'Doherty - PhD Student & Forrest scholar (2021-2025)
(Co-supervised with James Miller-Jones & Adelle Goodwin)Tyrone's research was focused on characerization of Galactic black holes and neutron stars using kinematic, astrometric and spectroscopic techniques. Tyrone has submitted his thesis.
Serena Jones - Physics Undergraduate Student (2024)
(Co-supervised with James Miller-Jones)Serena worked on radio polarization in jets of accreting black holes. She is now continuing her undergraduate studies.
Arlene Janse Van Rensburg - Actuarial Sciences Undergraduate Student (2024-2025)
(Co-supervised with Aloke Phatak)Arlene worked on application of data-intensive statistical techniques to search for black holes in high-volume and high through-put astronomical datasets. Arlene is now an honours student in actuarial sciences and a Don Watts Scholar.
Jinguo (David) Xu - Graduate Intern (2023-2024)
(worked with me and Kristen Dage)David worked on fine-tuning large language models for analysis of unstructured astronomical datasets. He is now a research assistant at the ARC Centre for Maintenance.

Mark Charlesworth - Math and Statistics Honours Student (2021-2022)
(Co-supervised with Aloke Phatak)Mark worked on developing a bayesian hierarchical model as an errors-in-variables model for non-gaussian random variables, to explore the link between population of X-ray binaries and host globular cluster properties.

Amy explored efficacy of unsupervised learning techniques in identification of black hole candidates in large astronomical datasets (such as the Gaia catalog).Alessandro Paduano - PhD Student (2020-2023)

Pikky Atri - PhD Student (2018-2021)
(Co-supervised with James Miller-Jones & Rich Plotkin)Pikky's research was focused on kinematic study of Galactic black holes using VLBI observations. She is now a Women in Science Excel (WISE) fellow at ASTRON.
