About me

I am a lecturer at Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy. I am primarily interested in characteristics of stellar-mass black holes and neutron stars, and their population in our Galaxy. I look for and study these objects through observations across the electromagnetic spectrum.

I am also interested in formation and evolution of these systems in dense old star clusters (globular clusters). I study effects of cluster environment on formation and evolution of these systems based on observational evidence.

In addition to astrophysical research, I like to engage in development and deployment of methods in data-intensive research, particularly in inter-disciplinary domains, such as astro-statistics and astro-informatics.
